WHEN AIRCRAFT CHARTER FLIGHTS MAY NOT BE THE BEST OPTION

In many cases, aircraft charter flights can be the best, most cost-effective option for your travel requirements, but not in all situations. Some circumstances don’t always lend themselves to aircraft charter flights. These can include: If you’re going to stay in your destination for an extended period of time, i.e., seven days—because most operators cannot leave the plane idle and you would be paying positioning charges or high overnight fees; when scheduled carriers have nonstop service, multiple-flight service available to a destination—scheduled airlines have very sophisticated yield-management systems that allow them to offer a few seats at a very low price, but an aircraft-charter operator couldn’t offer the same price on all their seats (not mass transit), as they would lose money on their flights. If your group were willing to split up and fly on multiple flights, this would be your lowest priced option.
